Belly sister Tess interviewed me at Bay fm yesterday.

Yay !! I did it !! That was fun !

Unfortunately the recording I got doesn’t seem to be working so.. won’t be able to put it out there, but never mind.

I talked about crepes obviously, telling souvenirs about my mum wiggling her bum beating the batter, something I can still see so clearly if I close my eyes. And she used to say that without wiggle, crêpes weren’t gonna be good.

Crêpes need to be cooked on non-stick pans, usually called crêpes pan, not deep at all and very flat. No scratch or it will stick, so use of wooden flipper is highly recommended.

Talked about the 2 different types of batter, wheat or buckwheat flour, gave tips like, beat flour and eggs till you can write your name with batter, when it makes a sort of ribbon. Then add milk, and continue till no more ingredient left.

Also mentioned that the 1st crêpe made is often missed and that’s ok, it can just be kept on the side and enjoyed as a “mistake test” 🙂

I also had the chance to listen to some of my very favourite songs, like Serge Gainsbourg “Aux armes etc”, Zaz “Je veux” and “Aimer a perdre la raison” sang by Les Enfoirés.

Merci Beaucoup Tess, c’était un plaisir !
